Barry Hoffman, D.D.S., has a post-graduate degree in prosthodontics from the National Naval Dental Center in Bethesda,
Maryland. He received his B.A. degree from St. Michael’s College in Burlington, VT and his doctorate from New York University
College of Dentistry. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years prior to entering private practice in 1995.
As restorative expert in complex dentistry for more than 25 years, Dr. Hoffman has taught postgraduate courses at the
University of California, San Francisco Buchannan Dental Center. He has lectured extensively at the graduate level in the field
of prosthodontics in California and at the U.S. Naval Dental Corps, where he also was an assistant dental officer, a command
consultant in prosthodontics, his specialty, and the director of the branch dental clinic at Bremerton. In 2003 he was voted a
Top Prosthodontist in the Sacramento region.
